London Day 7

Saturday morning we headed out of the city to Windsor castle. We toured the grounds then began the inside tour. When we arrived inside one of the rooms the tour host said to look outside to the gates. Then after the guards ceremony changed the flag the queen arrived in her range rover back from France. It was a very brief sighting but I technically can say I have seen the Queen of England in person. After we exited the castle building we walked down to St. George's Cathedral. Where we walked through the Cathedral and lit a candle before leaving. For lunch we went to a grab and go place called Eat and I found another mango juice that was amazing! The little village surrounding Windsor Castle is probably my favorite part of England so far. It was like a scene from every cute Europe based romantic comedy with little shops and restaurants. After Windsor we went back to the university to get some rest before heading out to Nando's for dinner. After Nando's we went back to Piccadilly Circus to get some gelato from the now favorite group gelato place Scoops. After Scoops we took an adventure through the tube station to tower bridge. It was stunning at night pictures don't serve it justice. Now it's off to bed for another class free adventure day tomorrow.
