Paris Day 1
This morning we went to Memorial de la Shoah. It is a Jewish memorial for all of the Jews effected by the Holocaust that were in France at the time. The whole exhibit was absolutely eye opening. There was stories and stories and stories of people effected. It's definatly something that everyone should see or experience. After that we had lunch and napped before heading out from the Louvre this afternoon. We spent over two hours there and I'm pretty sure we only saw 1/20th of the whole place. We saw the Monna Lisa and many many other paintings and sculptures in our two hours. The Louvre is over 600 thousands of square feet and has almost 10 million visitors each year. After that we headed over to the lock bridge. I took the picture of a couple who were visiting for their 40th wedding anniversary from Kentucky they were absolutely adorable. Plus they thought I was a photo expert haha so that's always nice. After we headed back to our hotel to hang out and watch some more World Cup in the huge pub downstairs.
