London Day 8
Sunday morning we started out by heading to Hillsong church. Hillsong is a church that originated in Australia and their praise band grew to an international recognized Christian band. We attended the London campus of the Hillsong church, not the original but if had a very nondenominational, contemporary feeling service. Today it was in a theater because the London Campus has expanded so quickly they are spending the entire summer renovating the church for their growing campus. After Church we walked around and found Drury land which I am sad to say we saw no muffin man. We then headed to Nando's for lunch again. This afternoon we started out our adventure thinking we were going to go to Dover, but the station we went to did not operate the trains to Dover on Sundays. So instead we decided to go pretty much all over the rest of London to get a good use out of our day tube pass. That was not our original plan but that is what happened haha. We headed all the way out to Far East London about an hour tube ride to visit the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before heading to Abby Road station which we thought was where the Beatles Abby Road was but FYI it is not. The Actual Abby Road is only one tube stop from the university we are staying at too which makes it even better lol. Then we head back from "Abby Road" to go to the real Abby Road two minutes from the university. Then we headed back to Southbank to go to the grocery store to get some dinner. Finally completely exhausted we headed to dinner before going back to the university to get some sleep for lecture tomorrow.
